     According to Edgar Cayce, the Egyptian civilization plays a major influence upon individuals even today many of whom had lifetimes in that ancient past. From Cayce's perspective, this civilization understood the story of creation, the destiny of humankind, and one's purpose for being in the earth. It had an ongoing relationship with Atlantis and had sent emissaries to the four corners of the earth, acquiring the world's knowledge. Many of Egypt 's secrets were apparently stored in an underground Hall of Records that Cayce claimed would eventually be discovered by the modern world.
